Frette's Autumn\Winter “Happy Living” collection examines the intimate connection between happiness and the home
03 september 2014
Considered by philosophers, writers, artists – and even economists – from Epicurus to Tolstoy to John Lennon – the search for well-being and happiness is intimately connected to our surroundings, especially the place we live.
In an ever-more chaotic world, home is the place of refuge, a place you can, to some extent, control. It is a place you can be yourself, relax, have fun with friends, a place where dreams are made – and sometimes even come true.
More an attitude than a Home Decoration rule-book, Frette suggests a light, ironic, multi-cultural approach to the Happy Home.
The collection revolves around three main suggestions, or themes: Entertainment ('Happiness'), Relaxation ('Minimal') and Dreams ('A House in Paradise').
For the first time, each group is broken down into three main sections: Couture, Fashion and Top of the Bed.
